Poetry Reading

This Saturday, January 16

SBAA members (and poets) Dotty Morris and Susan Mahan very much would appreciate any and all attendance at the Poetry Reading Series at the SB Library, this Sat, Jan. 16, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Attendees are welcome to read their own poetry or a couple of favorite poems (or short story) of their choice. Five minutes per person will be allotted. Open to adults and teenagers. Free. Light refreshments will be served.

Baby it’s cold outside

It’s supposed to be chilly … it’s New England, isn’t it?

The L Street Bath House and January has long been known for

people in Bikinis and Speedos jumping in the frigid bay.

But that was New Year’s Day and now that the Brownies are all thawed out

it might be wise to come on down to the L Street Bath House

Saturday morning and enjoy the city-paid heat In the Curley room

and the creative warmth of creative friends.

And right after schmoozing and a quick business meeting
